"I was able to discover potential that I never thought I had. And I found it while balancing my personal life and looking after my family."
Sylvia Kisinski Hills, working for an employer that shares similar values is as important today as it was when she joined the business as an electrical engineering graduate in 2010.
“I want to be part of good things that make the world a better place. At Worley I feel like I’m doing this every day. Not just through my professional contribution, but also through my involvement in Worley’s volunteer-based projects and activities.”
During her Worley career, Sylvia has been an enthusiastic supporter of Worley's sustainability causes.
She was first involved in the Pollinate Energy program, which helps communities in India and Nepal to access life-changing sustainable products such as solar lights and cleaner burning cookstoves. In 2019, Sylvia had the opportunity to help distribute these solutions to impoverished communities in India.
“The poverty I saw through the Pollinate project has stayed with me. It altered my outlook. It made me recognize the importance of volunteering and working to support communities and help its people to make steps forward."
